Hope.

The hardest part is the voices…
The voices grow louder, don’t they?
Especially at night.
Often times it’s unbearable.
They keep you up with wild thoughts.

Where do the voices come from?
Why are they in MY head?
Can they not bother someone else?
No.
I would never wish this torture on anyone.

They creep into your mind…
They rarely leave you alone.
But if you listen…
Listen really closely…
There is a faint whisper.
A quiet voice of hope…

Hope that there is more…
Hope that there is peace…
Hope that the torture will end…

Keep your head up.
Stay strong.

And maybe that’s the beauty of hope; that even when you don’t think you have enough strength to go on, one spark is enough to ignite a fire in your bones to hold on a little longer…

Find that hope.

Find that spark.

Let it ignite a fire in your bones to hold on a little longer.
